Our trip to the aquarium

A couple of weeks ago we took Hannah to the aquarium for the first time. When we got there we saw a bubble machine blowing bubbles all over the place, so she got to chase bubbles around while we waited for Ross to buy the tickets. Hannah liked the first five fish tanks or so and then she got a little bored. She just wanted to run through it all. I wish they would have had some whales or dolphins or something a little bit more interesting than just fish. I'm sorry they did have something more interesting than just fish...they had three siberian tigers in the middle of the aquarium! I still don't know why they were in there. Finally we got to the most exciting part of the aquarium...the shark tank! At least that is what I love the most. She looked at them for about a minute and then was ready to go. She turned around to look for us and another little boy turned at the same time (he was about nine or ten) and they ran into each other. Poor Hannah, he knocked her over and she hit the ground pretty hard. I don't think I'll ever forget the look on his face after I picked Hannah up and was calming her down. He was mortified, he just looked at me and said sorry. He felt so bad. Then we saw some star fish in a tank along with other sea creatures that live on the bottom of the sea floor. You could touch them, so I let Hannah stick her hand in there and she touched one and then started to sqeeze it! So we had to leave before she killed one of them. She's kindof a violent child. :) But at the very end she did enjoy touching the sting rays that were in an open tank. There was a small fish that was just sitting on the side of the tank so I threw it in and it landed on the head on a sting ray swimming by. He turned around and jumped out of the water so he could eat it. I didn't know sting rays could jump, you learn something knew everyday I guess. Here are some pictures we took that day.
