Utah Trip

The first weekend in May we went to Utah to see Ross' old mission companion get married. Hannah did really well in the car. She slept for about 2 1/2 hours. Before she went to sleep she wanted her stuffed animals and her blankey on her lap to cuddle up with. I guess she was just too cozy and warm to stay awake. Hannah loves sitting in the front seat to play when we stop for gas. She loves pushing everything to see what it will do. Ross has never been to SLC so I had planned things for us to do. I wanted to take him down to Temple square and walk around and see the conference center, The Joseph Smith building, The Beehive house, etc....but it was cold and rainy the entire weekend. We still had a really good time together even though we didn't go to Temple Square. Friday night we drove down to Orem to see Barbara and Ken Hehl and their family(she was my old young women's president in Columbia). I haven't seen them in about 11 years. It was such a good visit. On Saturday we went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Ross got there just in time. He said that he walked in about 10 seconds before they closed the doors. This is Hannah saying "Cheese" while she plays in the rain outside the Temple. (She looks so much like my niece Sarah in this picture) Sunday we went to my Uncle Robert's and Aunt Sandy's house before we left to come home. I took these pictures as we drove down the road. The scenery was just too beautiful to not take any pictures of our view.
It was a very short weekend and it went by way too fast. But it's always nice to get away with my little family no matter how long or short the vacation is.

  2. You are right she really does look like Sarah at that age. So CUTE! All you pictures are cute. That is too bad that Hannah had such a hard time at the theme park.
