Mackenzie Lee Redfearn is finally here! She arrived on March 23, 2009 at 9:55am. She weighed in at 7lbs 13oz and 20 inches long. We went in for a scheduled c-section that morning. All of my doctors and nurses were so wonderful and the hospital it self was amazing!
Mackenzie had some oxygen issues when she was born, they took her to the NICU to get it under control. I didn't get to see her for about 6 hours. I was also put back on oxygen for 24 hours because my levels were low.

We are so greatful that she is here and we love her to pieces. Thanks to all the family and friends for your support and help during the time I was in the hospital. We love you all!

Yeah!!! Thank you so much for posting pictures. I'm very happy for you all, especially for Hannah. Every girl needs a sister.
ReplyDeleteSo I am not sure at all how I missed this post but I did! UGH! She is beautiful! We are so hapy for you and your beautiful family. I m glad that you two ladies both ended up being fine. How hard it must have been for you not to see her for 6 HOURS! I remember complaining I didn't get to see Maddie for a little over and hour...yeesh! Glad you are all doing great though and congrats again!

ReplyDeleteyou make me feel SO much better! You know why you haven't had any desire to post? Because LIFE is busy! That's my excuse, and I'd rather spend it with peeps than with a computer screen...plus I'm lazy :)
