Disneyland BABY!!

Disneyland is pretty amazing anyways but since we went right before Thanksgiving it's all decked out for Christmas and at night time it's definitely a sight to see.We had the most fantastic time. The first night after traveling all day not so much, oh and at bedtime,(I'll get to that later) but the rest of the time was so awesome! I didn't think that 6 days at Disneyland would be long enough, but 6 days at Disneyland with a toddler and a baby? equals plenty of time, I was so tired by the end of it all, I was kindof excited to go home and take a vacation from the vacation I just had. We went with a couple of Ross' brothers and their families and also his parents and his younger brother Nick. Honestly we didn't spend that much time with them (because they walked too fast and Hannah couldn't keep up, so we decided to hang back by ourselves) but the time we did spend together was always a good time. The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean, which is just a really easy going ride right? WRONG! We were enjoying a nice ride in the boat when Michelle says "OK now there's a drop ahead" I said "a what?" Well I held onto my baby tight as we went down this drop knowing that this would probably scare her, and it did she cried for a little while and then I finally got her calmed down and then there was a second one, not as big as the first but still it added insult to injury and she screamed for the rest of the ride. I couldn't get her calmed down until we were off that thing. Then we went to dinner at this BBQ place. It was outside and we ate at picnic tables and they had entertainment on the stage. The food was the best part of course. They served BBQ ribs, chicken and sausage, served with ranch beans, individual little corn breads and coleslaw. It was all you can eat, when your plates were empty for your table they brought more. We ended up leaving maybe an hour after we got there b/c we had melt down issues but we took about 3 containers worth of food back to the hotel. It was a ton of food we ate those left overs two other nights that week and we still gave the rest to his parents to finish. So the $20 per person ended up being totally worth it. Ok on to the more important stuff! Hannah was such a trooper she lasted all day everyday without a nap, but then nighttime at the hotel came which was a total melt down every single night. She would cry saying this wasn't her home and that she wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed, but eventually we got her to go sleep and she woke up every morning ready to go back to "mickey's house". Kenzie really was a trooper too, I think it was on the second day I figured out how to get Kenzie to fall asleep at the park so that we didn't have to go back to the hotel until Disneyland closed. Hannah wasn't quite 40 inches which was a little disappointing because we measured her before we went and we thought that she was, luckily there was still a ton of stuff for her to ride, but we did manage to sneak her on to splash mountain(heehee) and she thought it was so much fun! The big drop in splash mountain is a 50 footer, I was a little worried at first but she did awesome! I sat with her in the very back where there is enough room for 2 people so she could hold on to me when the drop came. There was a little roller coaster in Mickey's toon town and I think she preferred that one. Hannah loved the Haunted Mansion and since everything was decked out for Christmas the Haunted Mansion was actually transformed into The Nightmare Before Christmas and had music from that playing. It was pretty cool! That was Hannah's favorite ride, I think we rode that one about 5 or 6 times. Another favorite for Hannah was the 3D Toy Story Mania. It was a pretty fun ride we all had fun on it. I think we only rode that like 3 times the entire week b/c the wait for that ride was 90 minutes long!!(which is nothing compared to the lines we waited for in FL in August but we didn't have kids then so 2 hours for a ride was not a big deal). Thanks to Ross' parents for watching the kids so Ross and I could ride the big rides by ourselves, like space mountain, my favorite! Oh and I finally got to ride Tower of Terror. We took our nephew Merrill and our niece Mikayla on that one with us and they just laughed at me the whole time, b/c I'm a screamer! But it was fun and I would most definitely do it again. I'm not sure who was more excited to see the characters Hannah or me. Every time I saw someone I made Hannah get in line to take pictures, she will look back and thank me I'm sure! Here are some pictures from our AMAZING trip! I can't wait to go back someday! (warning: this post has a ton of pictures)

Santa and his Reindeer were at Disneyland. Hannah loved the reindeer...Santa not so much!

This was taken in legoland, Ross is standing next to a 3 story high giraffe(taken from two different views, that's why it looks funny here). I was pretty amazed with this store, including Lego Woody, Darth Vader and the Empire State Building.

This is us on tower of terror with our niece and nephew.
